Dan Akujobi

Dan Akujobi, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and has a first degree in Accounting and Masters in Business Administration with specialization in General Management. He qualified as a professional Accountant in 1981. Mr. Akujobi is an Associate Member of a number of Professional Bodies including the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK, and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He is a registered Financial Adviser with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Dan is an Alumnus of Wharton Business School, Pennsylvania, USA, Manchester Business School, UK and International Institute of Management Development (IMD), Lausanne, Switzerland. Mr Akujobi is also a seasoned banker and has in-depth and extensive experience in forensic accounting, due diligence, and corporate restructuring assignments.

A former Executive Director of Diamond Bank Plc, Mr Akujobi started his professional career with Akintola Williams, Delliote & Touche & Co. in 1980. He has had hands-on experiences in Audit Practice, Investigation, Financial and Management Consultancy, and Banking in various organisations. 

Mr. Akujobi is the Chairman of First Alliance Pension Benefits Ltd and on the board of a number of companies including Diamond Bank Du Benin (Republic of Benin), Eastward Bureau De Change Ltd, etc. He was also a council member of Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC) from 2000 – 2002 and served on the boards of DBL Securities Ltd, DBL Insurance Brokers Ltd and ACB International Bank Plc.

KC Akuma

KC obtained his first degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1984 and MBA in finance from the University of Lagos in 1993.  He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987 and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria as well as a Registered Financial Adviser with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

He started his career in Wireplas Industries Limited in 1985 before joining the banking industry in 1989 as a Deputy Manager and rose to the position of a Senior Manager. 

Mr Akuma is a professional accountant, banker and financial and management consultant. He has extensive and hands-on experience in comprehensive due diligence, process design, change management, staff audit and corporate restructuring gained from working on leading companies such as Intercontinental Distillers Plc, Toptree Oil Mills Ltd, Ordrec Group, Starcomms, First Inland Bank Plc, etc.   He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

V. Efe’ Edwin

A first class graduate of the University of Manchester and Institute of Technology, Mr. Edwin is a Chartered Accountants and Banker with over 20 years hands-on experience in Banking and Accounting. He started his banking career in 1976 and held various responsibilities including Treasury Management, Finance, Internal Control and Risk Portfolio Management in Afribank Nigeria Plc.

Abayomi Kehinde Amore

Mr. Amore is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK and the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Nigeria.  Kenny is also an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in UK.

His experience in banking spans over 20 years during which he worked with Societe Generale Bank of Nigeria Limited, Equitorial Trust Bank Limited and more recently Omegabank Plc. He held various positions including Branch Manager, Chief Inspector, AGM Customer Services, Group Head Banking Operations and General Manager Operations.

Motolani Aduni Alawode (Mrs.)

Mrs Alawode is a first prize winner of Part One examination of the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 1980. She obtained her first degree from the University of Lagos in 1978. With over 25 years experience in auditing and banking, she started her professional career with PricewaterHouseCoopers (then Coopers and Lybrand) in 1979 before joining Nigeria arab Bank Ltd (which later became Assurance Bank Nig. Ltd) in 1989 as a Manager. She held various positions including Head of Treasury, International Operations, Finance and Chief Inspector. Mrs. Alawode is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Aliyu Yakubu

Aliyu is a first class graduate of the University of Ife. He is an information and communication technology expert with experience that spans over 25 years in the United States, West Africa and Nigeria. He worked as a consultant with Coopers and Lybrand (now PricewaterHouseCoopers). He also had worked with Consolidated Management Consultants Limited and Peers Consulting Limited as an Executive Director (Information Technology Services) and Managing Director respectively. He is presently the Managing Partner of Quantum-independence Consulting.

Adesina Adebayo

Bayo is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife with over 15 years of quality experience in accountancy, auditing, taxation, investigations, corporate turn-around, financial due diligence and other financial advisory roles. He trained with Alatta Nzewi & Co, a firm of Chartered Accountants and later rose to the position of Audit Manager in the firm of Adewuyi Adetunji & Co. Before joining Dasot Capital Partners, Bayo was a Partner designate in the firm of Sola Oyetayo & Co. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a Reporting Accountant.

Osa. F. Asemota

Osa. F. Asemota is a 1984 economics graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University. He also holds an MBA (Management) from the same University.

His experience in banking spans about 17 years involving Central Banking, Development Banking and Commercial Banking. His career started in 1986 at the Central Bank of Nigeria. He has extensive grounding in economic development. At the CBN he was engaged variously as a Research Economist on the Oil and Gas Sector, Money and Banking Office, and finally External Sector Division. He later proceeded to the National Economic Reconstruction Fund on secondment where he was variously Manager, Credit and Marketing and Head, Corporate Development/Planning. He also had a brief stint with Continental Trust Bank Limited (Now part of the UBA Group) during which he was Head, Corporate Planning (Executive Office) and later Head Collections Department. He has to his credit several organisational turn-around papers including those that led to the Creation of the Bank of Industry and the Note Issuance facility that was used to address the overdrawn positions of several banks by the CBN in 2002.

Hussein Yakubu

Hussein has over 17 years experience in the Nigerian business and financial services sectors having obtained first and post-graduate degrees in Economics and an MBA in Finance & Accounting.

He started his career with International Tobacco Limited in 1989 before joining NAL Merchant Bank Plc in 1990. At NAL Merchant Bank Plc, he worked at various departments for 10 years after which he joined Diamond Bank Plc in 2000. He left Diamond Bank as Head, Corporate Finance in 2005.

During his banking career, he handled key assignments in Capital Issues, Financial/Business Advisory Services, Credit/Leasing, Privatization, Project Finance/Management, Asset/Debt Management, Investment Advisory, Loan Syndication, Restructuring and Repositioning of companies

Martin Akpaka

Martin is a Law graduate of the University of Calabar, Nigeria.   He was called to the Bar in August, 1985.  He commenced his professional legal career with the firm of Zanda Izundu & Co., Enugu (the leading External Solicitors for Union Bank) where he was fully exposed in banking matters from 1985 to 1989.  He took a brief foray into 'politics in 1991; became Managing Counsel with H.P. Davies & Co. (where he participated in the drafting of Nigeria Shipping Policy (Implementation and Enforcement) regulation and Nigerian Shipping Policy (Amendment Act) from 1993 – 1994.He has been actively engaged in the legal practice since 1995.  He has special interest in trademarks and designs matters, debt recovery services, investments and property laws and legal issues on environment and poverty alleviation, investigation of claims, due diligence, etc.
